Kt’s K9s will do its upmost to provide a reliable service at all times.
We ensure all our team are fully trained to look after your dog. Our team are also fully insured for all aspects of the business including transportation and holding keys.
As per insurance guidelines we will always uphold no more than 1:6 ratio per team member to dogs attending Doggy Play Group sessions. Due to being a small business and to uphold the staff to dog ratio, if a team member is sick, we may need to cancel your session. In the unlikely chance of this occurring, the prepayment you have made will be credited to your account.
We will not allow a dog to join a Doggy Play Group session on an ad hoc basis unless known to us.
Dogs taking part in the service must be fully vaccinated or titre tested. (We also recommend a regular tick, flea and worming treatment as well as a kennel cough vaccination).
There may be times during a group session where your dog is placed on a lead to ensure their safety or the safety of the other dogs. We may also segregate them for a short period if needed.
Our team members are trained to spot any signs of aggression or unwanted behaviours and to remedy the situation immediately. Any problem behaviours or issues will be discussed with you and an action plan put in place. However, any reoccurring problems may result in your dog being removed from our services.
Kt’s K9s believes neutering is your personal choice. Your dog is not required to be neutered to take part in our services. However, if we experience any problems which we believe to be in relation to an intact dog (male or female) we will withdraw the space until your dog has been neutered.
We ask that bitches do not attend group sessions during their season (and for 10 days after).
Due to being a small business, staff holidays will be taken on a shut down basis each year. We will shut down during the Christmas period, for 2 weeks in August and for a week over the Easter period. We will not be conducting our services on bank holidays.
